American Physical Therapist Conference to Showcase Amramp Products

Amramp to exhibit to thousands of physical therapists in Salt Lake City this June

The American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) annual conference and expo is coming up soon, and Amramp can’t wait to be a part of it! The conference brings together physical therapists and related medical professionals from across the country to learn, develop, and network with peers and industry leaders, June 26-29 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Humorist Dave Barry kicks off the conference on Wednesday night. Training sessions on PTNow software will be offered throughout the day, and participating attendees will earn continuing education credits (CEUs). There will be lectures, debates, an awards celebration, a poster presentation to honor physical therapy researchers, and even a Utah Chapter “Fun Run” for fitness buffs. On Thursday night, there will be a gala to celebrate the foundation.

Amramp will be one of 200 exhibitors, helping attendees learn more about the latest mobility solutions in the Amramp line of products and services. Physical and occupational therapists must constantly help their patients create new ways to move and to navigate their spaces when confronted by limiting conditions or deteriorating health. Amramp provides ramps, lifts, portable showers, and other products to make their living spaces, safer, accessible, and ADA-compliant.

The American Physical Therapy Association is a professional organization with more than 85,000 members who are physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students. APTA’s mission is “to improve the health and quality of life of individuals in society by advancing physical therapist practice, education, and research, and by increasing the awareness and understanding of physical therapy’s role in the nation’s health care system.”

Conference lectures will be provided by industry experts, covering topics like the evolution of physical therapy and changing horizons, the effectiveness of residency education, and an interactive public debate forum open to audience participation.

Salt Lake City, Utah, offers plenty of sights, museums, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife to explore during the off-hours. If you’re going to be there for the conference, make sure to stop in and say hi to Amramp President and Founder, Julian Gordon and Amramp Salt Lake City franchise owner Eric Wallentine at Booth 817! We look forward to seeing you there!
